Donations Delivered to 6 Different Charities in Ontario and Nova Scotia
Food insecurity in Canada has surged by 39%1. Read the headlines and stand on the sidelines? Nope! Challenge accepted. In September and October, Cash Money employees teamed up to donate food, hygiene products and baby items to six different donation centers in Ontario and Nova Scotia. It's what they've always done best: help meet a community need with action and heart.
Collectively, our store employees teamed up to purchase and donate boxes of non-perishable food to Sudbury Food Bank, Lighthouse Men's Shelter, North Bay Food Bank, and Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen Community Centre. They didn't stop there.
At Lighthouse Men's Shelter, employees volunteered to fill 30 individual bags with snacks and warm socks or winter hats. In Mississauga, employees gathered an impressive 500 food items that John Adams, Cash Money District Manager, collected and personally delivered to the Mississauga Food Bank.
To top it off, the team in the Greater Toronto Area donated two cars filled with food and personal care products for the Weston King Neighbourhood Centre.

Now, the Cash Money team is planning for the next big way they can impact their communities in 2020 and beyond.
